Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
These are the rates quoted by each carrier for your specific health classification. The actual premium you pay, after the carrier completes its underwriting evaluation, may be better, unchanged, or different from what is quoted here. The underwriting process may adjust your health class. This site presents quotes for informational purposes only and does not constitute an offer of insurance or guarantee any specific rate.
What happens when I click Apply?
Once you select a carrier and click Apply, your quoted information populates a secure application form on the carriers' platform. You may start, pause, and resume the application process at any time. All signing is completed electronically. Susman Insurance Agency, a California-licensed insurance agency (License 0B75129), processes these applications.
Will I need a medical exam?
It varies by carrier, coverage amount, and your responses. Some carriers marked as offering Immediate coverage can approve qualifying applicants on the spot; other carriers and amounts may require a medical exam, may possibly require one, or may not require one. Each quoted option indicates its exam status.
Is a longer term better?
The right term matches the time period during which your death would create financial hardship: paying off a mortgage, covering dependent children's expenses, settling business debt. Longer terms come with higher monthly premiums but offer rate certainty across more years.
